West Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group is holding a series of Stakeholder Events to give local people the opportunity to get involved in shaping healthcare services locally.

The theme of West Norfolk CCG’s 3rd Annual Stakeholder Events will be ‘Sustainable Co-ordinated Care with Patients in Control’. This year the focus will be the work of the West Norfolk Alliance concentrating on three main areas: –

  • Care of older people with frailty
  • Care of children when acutely unwell
  • Care of those using maternity services

As in previous years, the CCG will be replicating the same event in three locations across West Norfolk to help as many people attend as possible.

  • Tuesday, September 9 at 2pm at West Norfolk Professional Development Centre, King’s Lynn
  • Friday, September 12 at 10am at Hunstanton Town Hall
  • Friday, September 19 at 10am at Green Britain Centre, Swaffham

Reimbursement of travel expenses will be available for patients and the public.

Dr Sue Crossman, Chief Officer of West Norfolk CCG, said: “We are keen to find out what local people think about these services, how they can be improved, and what these services tell us about the wider configuration of health services in West Norfolk in the future.

“By listening to West Norfolk residents and understanding their experiences we will be able to better plan local healthcare services. Please join us at these events and help us to shape future services positively.”

These events are open to anyone who wishes to come along, although people are being asked to complete a booking form which is available to download from the CCG’s website at www.westnorfolkccg.nhs.uk.
